While reading the Warrior boards I found this post… notice how all the classes have a be afraid of me build but Guardians….

I find warrior awesome! I played warrior since 3days headstart and still love it… If I even try to play other classes I start missing my warrior. Sometimes as warrior I just miss reflection walls/bubbles and scorpion wire like skills.
Atm warrior can be anything… PvE dps or support/cc (support not really needed), in PvP condi, bunker, cc… well can’t be glass cannon.
WvW u can roam, 1v1, zerg vs zerg etc… everything works.
Also don’t listen the “hit your keyboard with your face to win” whine… every class has one of these builds.
For warrior it’s hammer/mace/shield or GS/mace/shield.
Thief got the dagger pistol.
Ele got their scepter dagger,
necro got terror mancer
I don’t know if guardian actually has one… it has very nice sustain never the less.
Engi got pistol shield
Mesmer got staff scepter and some offhand…
Ranger got spirits
Those are kinda OP builds and in right hands a pain in the kitten if you have to face one.
Dual sword + longbow for hard but rewarding 1vs1.
Warrior got sustain based on high hp regen. Poison + burst dmg counters this. Warrior got nice condi removal which is coming from fighting instead of standing idle. Warrior got mobility and high base stats. It lacks few things but it’s overall loveable profession! It’s easy to play with and hard to master (as Anet stated[I agree with them], but which profession isn’t like that?)
Feel free to argue with me. You learn something every time and it develops your personality.

To all the warriors on our boards telling us we rock.. this is the honest opinion by a warrior while telling how awesome warriors are and how other classes can be awesome… well other then Guardian.. they can do ok sustained dps…..

lol, i actually think he meant that we have pretty decent sustain, as in survivability, not damage.

Wow I love that one.

This is just the best way to show what warriors think about guardian… no combo of anything that makes anyone fear them!

I’m almost giving up. When they said they would fix the major problems with professions in the last patch, I was hopping that they would finally fix the hammer, mace, shield, a lot of utilities and several traits. But instead they band aid the Hallowed groud (still useless with insane CD) and nerf/buff the Purging Flames (basically become the same that was before) and NOTHING MORE! Actually, they did some stealth changes (5 zeal now activates on 50%, Renewed Focus duration down to 2 sec and maybe even more…). Furthermore, they give us a lot of skill fact bugs, so in the next patch we’ll get, guess what?? SKILL FACT FIXES!!!

I like warriors. They have high DPS so it’s easy to kill things and healing signet. But one downside is that I feel like its horrendously boring. I started out playing mesmer then ele so I was attached to all the spell effects. Warriors had none so the whole time I felt lie I was just spamming F1 and 3 on longbow and 2 on GS. Which is why I switched to guardian. Blue fire. I mean like who DOESN’T like setting stuff on fire.

Eh i wouldn’t get too hung up on that. He doesn’t seem to know other classes very well. I play a mesmer and staff/scepter combo is far from ‘scary’

Edit: Mesmers don’t really have any ‘faceroll’ builds. You’d have to be really bad at your class to lose to a mesmer that’s facerolling his keyboard.

Yes but now imagine how bad guardians have to be if he thinks those others are face roll.. and cant even think if a guardian that is troublesome… yeah speaks volumes.
