Guild Wars 2

Just hit level 25, and as of this point, I only have used 5 points in radiance, for the blind. Just looking for some pointers as to where I should be investing points into next?

If you go full offensie for leveling its usually much faster than going for a stable/balanced build.

You can respec easily when you get to 80.

Before 40, you can trait however you want them. My recommendation would be: 20% shout reduction in Honor, 10% damage increase against burning targets from Zeal, and Inspired Virtues in Virtues.

After you hit 40 and get the book to unlock your next tier, I would strongly recommend 10/15/0/0/5 (take Fiery Wrath in Zeal). Every time you kill a foe, your Virtue of Justice resets. This allows you to spam it when AoEing mobs (thus stacking Mights from Inspired Virtue). Since you will have VoJ up most of the time, it will guarantee the mob on fire to get the bonus of Fiery Wrath.

You can’t really go wrong in traiting, unless you try. Radiance is a good place to start, because you can reset the cooldown of Virtue of Justice with it.

Radiance/valor

Everyone swears by gs but I used sword and torch and it was effective. Even gs likes radiance though.

As said, Radiance is a good tree for the 15 point minor trait where Virtue of Justice is reset everytime you kill a foe, which in turn with the 5 point minor triait then blinds mobs around you. Which you can then trait so blinding also gives vulnerability for a bit more damage.
Although you have to be level 40 to acess it.
