Which Weapon Sigil
Depends on your build. Pick sigils that synergize with your play style. Personally, I love me some sigils of Hydromancy. Can’t get enough AoE chill in WvW.
I like sigils of leeching and sigil of blood. Leeching is 975 hp on weapon swap and blood is 475 on crit with a 2 second cooldown. I love life steeling !

If you can afford it, it’s worth having a couple of weapon sets with alternative sigils, so you can swap to different ones as appropriate.
I recommend having 2 weapons ( can be trashy quality ) with bloodlust and perception sigils, so you can charge up power or precision to 25 stacks ( then you can switch back to your main weapon )
For main, I tend to go for Accuracy, Force or Energy depending on the game I’m playing
Sigil of force is really good if you are getting as much power as you can. Even if you are a crit build, the 5% damage increase works always. The crit effects are based on a chance and they aren’t always the best effect for the situation you are in. It’s also really good fallback if you think your other sigil effects (criting and swapping) are too situational.
I don’t tend to use Sigil of Force for anything except a quick dungeon run with very experienced people. That’s just something you can pound out fast with little risk to failure.

yeah +5 can be good, but +10 better and an ascalon weapon with a night sigil works well.
Last I heard Sigil of Blood is bugged and doesn’t steal life if you socket it into a 2-hander. Has that been fixed yet?

Well it depends on the weapon, but for the most part I run Rage on my gs and Force on my hammer.

hmmm… but you gotta use 1h weapons. The only time I use 1h is mace/shield which is for healing, and using respective sigils. And when all healed up, switch back to GS. I do have an armor set with flame legion runes, along with option to trait burn on block, that adds the 5% (from runes) against burning foes so still comes to 15% but on a 2h, or at least 15% some of the time and while maximized with proper timing.

Not sure, I use it on a mace for my guard. Dagger on my d/d stealth thief. I’ve recently put one on a hammer with my regen warr (50%+ accuracy), so hard to tell but seems to go up a little faster. Too bad it doesn’t show in combat logs.
Standard is energy in all aspects of the game. Why? Simple they are life savers if you swap on a regular basis even without a single point in healing power.
I use backup weapons to either stack precision or power on kill.
Dual Energy, when you learn to dodge roll correctly you can run much ‘riskier’/stronger builds without actually having the risk.
