Guild Wars 2

So wanting to try guardian due to the magic/melee style of play and debating mostly between asura, human, and sylvari, but I usually find humans boring to play. So which of these races has the more fitting guardian armor?

I also find humans boring. Make one of each one and look at culturals armors or looks at the bank. Maybe you will find something suit better with one race. I particulary like the T3 heavy asura and T3 heavy norn. Sylvari culturals are more about plant stuff so maybe not fit with your idea of guardian. T3 human is Logan Tackeray stuff.
I prefer myself asura coz they are animals.

Sylvari cultural armors glow in the dark

Charr looks the best as guardian in my oppinion, and then Norn or Sylvari after.

but on topic though i had a charr guard. but i hated him so a made a female norn instead. never regretted it

I like human guardians the most, but I think sylvari and norn seem pretty nice as guardians too.

Asura and charr are the best.

Asura heavy racial armor allows some really awesome ‘Tron’ looks.

Sylvarii heavy racial armor has the only heavy gloves that don’t cover the forearms in the game.

The Dragon’s Maw trap is going to look so awesome on her .

They can all look kitten. But the cultural heavy armor for Human, Char and Asura are all kitten.

My Guardian is a char and I love him, but otherwise my second choice would be Asura. The Cultural heavy in blue is just so freaking cool.

Hmmm thanks all, I would play norn but I do not think they make sense as guardians plus they run so slow, no charr for sure I am saving char for something else( not sure yet ). So it comes down to asura or sylvari the pics of them dont look bad, the armor is atleast interesting I am just not sure if I really like it on sylvari. How are sylvari guardian animations?

Sylvari is my favorite race, so I’m a little biased. I played a human guardian for over 1,000 hours before creating a Sylvari guardian and rushing 80 just for the aesthetics. I am extremely happy with my Sylvari’s looks.

My armor is mostly T2 cultural with Mawdrey and crimson ascended sword/greatsword. I use the Anomaly as my focus skin.

I’d say human Guardian, for maximum glory!
