Guild Wars 2

Yeah so, every time I play pvp im in lvl 3 with a lvl 8 Guardian Asura but I die very fast. And for some reason my health is only 13,000 something. But when I attack it seems I barely do any damage. That’s why I sometimes play on my lvl 6 Mesmer because he has 21,000 health. Is t because of the profession? And how can I get better at pvp?

Are you talking about WvWvW or Structured PvP?

Because in World vs World vs World, your level and your gear does make a difference, even when you get upscaled.
In sPvP there’s no reason to feel weak as a Guardian, if you have a decent build and play properly.
It is true that Guardians tend to have lower health. In order to balance our healing and defensive ability, we are given very low base health. This isn’t really a problem, most of the time.
And the best ways to improve are: playing a lot, looking for ways to improve, understanding every profession and watching other people play.

They aren’t weak, but despite natural assumptions, it does take a bit of skill to EFFECTIVELY play as a Guardian. However, this skill is mostly mental, and the actual challenge that comes with being a Guardian is in the skill choice. You have to make sure you choose the correct skills that will benefit your play style, even if they aren’t very flashy. Also, based on your levels, I would guess you are a relatively new player. Since you’re just learning, don’t get annoyed that you’re losing most of your fights. Just think, one day you’ll be the guy beating all of the newbs.

I just made a guardian to try it out in PvP and I’ve found that it’s actually pretty awesome. Using the hammer, I was managing to win in 1v3 battles and I am by no means any good at PvP.
