As the title says, since beta and changes to the heavy light trait it’s hard to guess when it’s done recharging. Sure it’s only a 10 second cool-down but an indicator would be helpful.

Here’s a better question: Why does ANet keep adding proc-based CC to the game when players have continually said it’s not fun.

Probably because what a few players think isn’t relevant to Anet.

I am not so sure about that, lots of people were talking about that CC and lifesaving passives really break the skilful play as you don’t have to do anything in order to execute it, and some passives give quite an advantage.

Guardian is meant for jolly crusading.

Does Anet implement passive effects because they are listening to players that don’t want it? I’m doubtful. Seems pretty certain to me.

Well originally it was tied to an ability use.

Then things got changed.

They were likely strapped for time & just did the fastest thing they could and made it proc based.

Really it would be much more balanced if it were tied to deflecting shot.

This! As a random passive proc it happens when we don’t want it to and leaves us without a useful CC when we actually need it.
