Guild Wars 2

Hi guys!

I am using a build that I have since the beginning of the game. I’ve stopped playing for a while because of some personnal reason and now I’m back on.

It was working fine at beginning but I see that it lacks on some survivability:

30 : Shattered aegis, Fiery wrath, Zealous Blade
30 : Signet Mastery, Searing flames, Blind Exposure

0
10 : Master of Consecreations

Weapon: Greatsword/Shield + Sword
Signet of resolve, signet of judgement, judge’s intervention, “retreat” + hounds of balthazar

Gear use alot of condition, and I got Superior rune of FLame legion (6/6)

So basically, my Guardian is a WvW and I’m looking for a nie build, good for 1vs1 and in a group. I am open on any idea.

Have you read the heal way guide yet? It’s a great build that preforms pretty well in all areas of WvW.

If you are not a fan of healing power and prefer something more offense based for 1v1s and small group fights there is always a zerker guardian.

I have not looked at the heal build. but I will.

But I’ve just looked at the video, Top 100 Rank NA Berserker Guardian Epic Montage, WOW, this looks amazing.

That’s because it is. You will melt people.

The issue is whether you can sustain yourself or not when not getting the drop on people.

Well if you run a zerker meditation build you absolutely can. It’s a different play style though. You are welcome to watch the sunny styles videos.

Seen em. It works great in 1v1, but 1v3+ when they see you coming or engage you themselves is an entirely different story.

Good AoE damage if you run it with staff in zergs, but if you aren’t careful you end up as just another piece of rally bait. I’m a little biased against zerkers in WvW though. Most active T1 [WvW] players are.

The first picture 4 of us charged into their sup camp. Second picture is a part of that fight, notice the dead bodies.

These pics show the progression of the fight. 4 of us vs their camp, plus them. Btw youd on’t see green arrows, I never have more than 3 stacks of might etc.

I know the pic is a bit old, been spending more time with gf than playing. Still I manage to get a few duels in.

I completely understand this. The idea behind WvW isn’t even based on actually killing players, and while dueling/pvping may be fun it takes spots away from people that could help the team win. I just got so bored with how the system is now. There needs to be more encouragement to actually pvp. I won’t make suggestions about it, there are far better ones on the other forums.

edit again: I wanted to say I appreciate the good discussion. I hope that my posts haven’t come across as being a kitten. That’s not my intent, and I appreciate the other builds here. I personally take advantage of what the Guardian has to offer over other professions. It makes a dps “tank” with amazing damage mitigation, and really good damage avoidance. That’s just so strong.

im not full berserk on my guardian but i really like the dmg u pull off lol.

i will give a try.
