Haha probably. I don’t ever really think when I play, I just kind of do whatever and have fun lol
I’ll keep it in the back of my head when the situation arises!

I’d really like to know which builds you were using as well (particularly the build in the first few minutes, when you’re using the two meditations and Purging Flames for your slot skills). I just recently started playing my guardian again, and can’t seem to find a good balance in my armor/runes/trinkets/traits. I watched your video a few times and really like the balance between your damage and sustain. Care to share your secrets?

I would also very much love to see the build for the first few miniutes, i love my guard but am fairly clueless with builds as i main mes.

A lot of WvW’ers run guild builds or builds they view as proprietary to their servers. Thus their vids are more of a “look at me!” than a guide to help new players/guards.

When the OP is using shouts he has 20 in Honor for Superior Aria and Two-handed Mastery.

When he is using Meditations it looks like it’s at least 0/0/30/20/15. Possibly the same trait spread for both builds, just with different armor sets & runes.

Sorry for the late reply bud I’ve been so busy with work Anyways I do not use purging flames at all, Also my gear is a mix of Celestial and Zerk gear. I use ruby orbs because they’re a cheap alternative to divinity. Very first vid with the late 1v2 is – 0 0 30 20 20

Umm Meds or Shouts in the beginning? I have diff. med builds and I always switch.
Most likely it was – 10/0/30/25/5 or 0/0/30/20/20 the shout was either 0/0/20/30/20 or the classic 0/5/30/30/5 Im always changing builds :/

Refer to my reply to Omegon but, if I were you i’d stick to mesmer. i feel like Mesmer is insanely OP right now and alot of my guildies agree. So I’d would run around and kitten face for a bit until they get a little nerfed.

I do like to play mesmer, and i will likely continue maining it, but i love how guardian plays when roaming/with group, after being on mesmer for a year i think its time for a switch up, especially with all mesmers hitting pu as hard as they can killing build diversity :L. i think i’ll work my traits around how you had your med build in the video, i had traits very similar as it turns out was just missing out on armor as i’ve been running full knights/pvt.
