Zealot's Fire
I tried to spec this, saw that it didn’t trigger and changed it out. Thought the trait was there specifically for Zealot’s Fire… Guess not.
Blood~
Confirmed: the two have no synergy.
So is this ever going to be fixed? or can we just kiss this possible proc goodbye.

Well that makes inner fire pretty much useless since you need to fight someone who uses burn conds (probably only another guardian).
That actually wouldn’t be too bad against another Guardian, you’d be getting Fury all the time.

Elementalist is also another garanteed class to have always burning. So this trait seems more like a reliable anti-ele/ guardian trait.

I also thought that was the whole point of this!
Obviously this makes too much sense.
Scratch of another reason to not spec two-handers then.
Meh.
And I could care less about other eles&guards. If it(inner fire) would do something actually useful like uncloak a thief or something, then we could talk.

Then please, please PLEASE change the flavor text in the tool tip. Say we are “wreathed in flame” or some similar verbage that suggests we are going to have a blue-white fire aura, but not be personally ignited/BURNING. Honestly, the way it was phrased seemed to specifically call out that it would proc the trait… Tooltip change and it all goes away – pretty painless I would hope.
I got to level 40, and was a bit dumbfounded the interaction my torch had been teasing me with since level 2 in fact did nothing.
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

I like this solution. You’re a level headed guy.

It actually used to give you fury in the beta, so I think the current tooltips are just a relict from that time…
I also find it very unfortunate, as this would have been very nice Sword/Torch synergy burst build…
On the Guardian I would like to see more synergy between skills, talents and weapon powers. I understand that this could lead to unforeseen problems and I appreciate that Jon is working very hard not to make anybody overpowered. Thanks Jon, but I must say, torch needs something – it’s pretty crappy.
I too was mislead by the tooltip. I don’t think the trait itself is underpowered (it’s a minor trait, after all) but I do think the wording should be clarified a little.
