Hello fellow guardians,
I am actually wearing the hotw heavy armor, because I wanted to look like a “scholar in heavy armor” and it is the only one of this kind between all the dungeons armors that I have found (all other make you look like a warrior with heavy plates and such)), but still I don’t completely feel ok with hotw armor. So, i am asking you, do you know good heavy armors skins that could make me look like a scholar in heavy armor ? My guardian is a big norn with white hairs and beard.

there’s always the crafted set. called “draconic” that’s about it.

i have looked here http://gw2armorgallery.com/norn-heavy.htm and there is really nothing to my taste, same for the draconic set, thanks for the suggestion though.

I think if you mix up some of the more “scholarly” bits from various armor sets, and hide your shoulder armor and helmet, you’ll be able to get the look you’re going for (that’s what I’m doing). Of course, I imagine this is a lot harder to achieve with the current character you’re using, as opposed to (for example), a nord female, since they have a pretty scholarly tier 3 racial armor, and a slimmer fit.

Just out of curiosity, are you trying to get a sort of monk-like look for your guardian?

Yes, something like that, a monk, and my guardian build is support (0/0/30/30/10)
