So right now if you use binding blade on a target, you can hit 1 target with multiple binding blades. Lets say you hit a target with 2 binding blades. You do 2x the damage.
Which makes sence. Except for the passive damage(the 200-300 ish per tick for 10 seconds when you dont pull the target). It still remains to 1 binding blade tick.

Shouldnt it be also 2 ticks per second since you hit the target with 2 blades?

It would be too OP.

Technically you could hit a Mesmer with 5 binding blades if all his clones were out and you Judge’s Intervention him + Binding Blade. That alone would yield 1k damage per second… since Binding Blade scales better with burn builds, the damage will reach 2k per second.

Everyone would break their keynoards.

this reminds me of the ability of Sylvaris druid

They also cast a skill thats almost indentical to binding blades.

“It is possible that multiple projectiles from the Thump ability hit the same target (only happens if there are at least 2 targets within the Druid’s range and a single target stands in the way for the other targets). If the requirements are met, a single foe can be struck by 5 projectiles.”

Implying you could do that reliably and implying a mesmer wouldn’t get 1 shotted by a zerker guard if he gets hit by 5 binding blades.
