Hi there.
I, as a cond build thief, you like to complain about the guardian class:
i do 3×3=9 stacks of bleed, then guardian removes them,
i apply them again, and again remove + heal, so after 10+ sec and spent all initiative,
overall no dmg to the guardian. Do you think that is fair, yes ?

Smite Condition: 1/4s casttime | 20s cd | 1 cond || instant and 16s cd if traited
Contemplation of Purity: instant | 60s cd | all cond converted into boons || 48s cd if traited
F2 Skill Virtue of Resolve: instant | 60s cd | 3 cond if traited
All Signets: various casttime | various cd | 1 cond if traited

So yes, I think its fair.

A little tip, if you go for a conditionbuild see to it that you apply at least 2 different conditions, preferably 3, to cover for the one thats “important” for you.

Also apply them in the right order so you have two cover conditions on the target when applying your bleeds.

If i was contemplating a conditionbuild on my guardian i would have sigils that proccs bleed on crit.

Just and advice.

Most people run Purity + Signet so passive 2 cond removal every 10s. Get them to pop their big heal and it’s only 1.

spamming 3+ conditions is not doable, either i have to giveup stealth skills, or i must move my traits, and i really need the 1 cond removal on stealth,
also thief is kinnda squishy from heavy classes, also as mentioned:

CSmite Condition: 1/4s casttime | 20s cd | 1 cond || instant and 16s cd if traited
Contemplation of Purity: instant | 60s cd | all cond converted into boons || 48s cd if traited
F2 Skill Virtue of Resolve: instant | 60s cd | 3 cond if traited
All Signets: various casttime | various cd | 1 cond if traited

clearly OP !

That’s assuming the person is running around completely specced and traited to remove conditions while is kind of pointless since you give up on everything else.

Majority of people roll Purity (trait) and Signet of something (big heal that passive remove conditions) so it’s 2 removal every 10s until you big heal and then its only 1.

Well the entire point is that in order to be good at something you need to give up something.

A guardian that is the master of conditionremovals give up damage to do so.

when i play my conditionthief i have 16k health and have plenty of stealth, enough in weaponskills tbh, and conditionremovers as well.

I can infact choose not to die if i want to and i cant be stopped when leaving the scene of the crime.

Frankly, you find a guardian that build exclusively for conditionremoving to be op when he can handle conditionbased builds.

OK..

Yes, I think this is fair. The Guardian needs protection from conditions because of their low health. And in order to remove ALL THE CONDITIONS, you need to trait in a specific way and/or pick the right utility skills, leaving you open against more direct damage or another strategy.
You just met your counter in a condition removal Guardian (and I must say, if your condition build relies on 1 condition, I think you need to rethink it), just like I can only occasionally win from condition-Necromancers.
Every build will have a counter. You have the bad luck of playing a build that is bad against a common Guardian build.

Welcome to rock, paper… You speced entirely into doing condition damage, Guardian into condition removal. Stalemate. You can’t kill him, he can’t kill/find/catch you. Balance!
