So I am a level 80 guardian, I wear knight exotic armors, use an exotic weapon. The question is “Does the damage I am doing is suited for my level and gear and if so what can I do to improve it”
First, this is my stats…

my normal great sword attack is around 500 to 600 for the first strick and for my third strick is around 900-1000 on orr mobs
I fell like I am doing somethings wrong… if you notice anything just post it.

You can use beserker so you do a lot more damage at the cost of in your case toughness.

What trinkets and Traits are you using? Also what runes and whatnot do you use in your armor. Those stats seem kinda low for a full knights exotics set.

Use Food / Oils. Use Pwr Runes on Zerker Gear.

35-40% Crit is enough.

90% Crit Dmg.

Contrary to belief, you odn’t ‘need’ a high crit%. Many people think that a 50%+ crit rating w/ only a +50% crt dmg is ‘optimal’.

From years of experience, I’d rather that when I crit, they KNOW I critted.

in my armor, there are 3 superior rune of rage and 3 superior rune of pirate. My gs has superior sigil that stack 25 precision. For my accessory,
level 74 exotic cleric amulet of knight with brillient emerald jewel,
level 80 exotic beryl orichalcum ring of valkyrie with exqusite berly jewel,
level 80 exotic ruby orichalcum ring of berserker with exqusite ruby jewel,
level 80 exotic ruby orichalcum earring of berserker with exqusite ruby jewel,
ancient karka shell of rampager with exqusite coral jewel
lastly, masterwork berserker spineguard of berserker with exqusite ruby jewel,

I saw people in youtube doing normal attack for like 1500 without critical…….

Yeah, your stats seem oddly low for the gear you have. As far as runes go you are better off trying to go for orbs/crests as they are cheaper and give you more stats than the runes are worth. Might duration is nice but fury duration is almost useless on a guardian because we only have one consistant way to apply it. I use a mix of beryl orbs and crests of the soldier and together its an increase of 120 power, 84 vitality 42 toughness and 6% crit damage. that should help up your damage a bit. Also the people doing that much are most likely zerker set builds.

You haven’t posted your trait, however, check if you have the (convert 5% toughness to precision) trait, and, if your damage is again sub-par, try with some food and oils.

Plates of Lemongrass and Quality maintenance Oil could work wonder.

If you have to run three runes of the pirate, then you should exchange the other runes for ruby orbs, as suggested, because they’re better stat-wise, and if you’re not getting the bonus set, it is all wasted IMO.

isnt orr in a region of lvl around 20 ?

im new to game but i think u’ve been downgraded to lower level …

Orr is level 80.

Then you should also have a look at your traits. More than your gear actually.
Get +10% bonus dmg on burning foes, +10% dmg on conditionned foes (Radiance 25), +10% dmg on non-full endurance, +20% dmg under Aegis. And you will see the difference.

About gear, knight trinkets with Ruby Jewels are about the best thing to have if you look after DPS as Guardian.
