thats the general build i would like to use for pve and wvw but i can’t figure out what stat set i’d need on gear or sigils/runes to have alright flat damage and tankiness while my burns work. i am aware it has a crippling lack of swiftness and cond clear but my jesus book will protect me i hope.

Hm… Well first of all, PvE and WvW are very different gamemodes, and it’s highly recommended you run different builds for both modes.

It helps a lot to read through it, PvE and WvW prioritizes completely different things.

Of those builds for PvE I’d recommend you pick the ‘Max Utility’ one, 4/5/0/0/5 that looks like this in the editor

Now, regarding to WvW, what exactly are you looking to do there? I assume you want to running in the frontline with the Zerg? Or be roaming alone? Looking at your stats I understand you want to be causing a lot of burning with Tome of Wrath and blocks?

yeah i want to be heavy on burns but not without defense for solo/duo roam

Could you consider dropping the Tome completely and the traits needed for it? I have personally tested the Tome and it just feels way too clunky, clumsy and slow for the pace the fights go
