how tough can a guardian/ dragon hunter be?
Guardian can be pretty tough… Signet of Judgement is a flat 10% damage reduction. DH’s Hunter’s Fortification for another 10% damage reduction. And Scrapper runes for another 7%… If they stack would make you pretty tough. And Guardian has a bunch of blocking abilities, which lets you ignore a ton of damage.
You have a point. Permanent protection gives another 33% reduced dmg for a nice 53% (60% with rune) dmg reduction
guess i just had to look at it in a different way
Tnx
There’s also this build. With 5 allies you can get towards 2k hps with a myriad of ways to block and remove conditions. Shelter, WoR (active is actually more hps than passive), and Rune of the Defender 6th each heal for more than 5k. It’s the epitome of Sustain Tanking.
Yes but…im not looking for a pure nomad tanking build, also the 6th rune has a 30s cd :/
Don’t forget to abuse the one trait and get aegis and pure of heart procs everytime you get crowd controlled. They need to fix. Over-all though if you want to be support tank the meta bunker build is superior to anything DH offers.
You “abuse” the trait with a 30 second cooldown. Sooo OP.
Chuck The Stampede – Engineer
[Lg] Agatha – Dragonbrand
That bonus heals for 3960(0.6) on block. 30s cd is absolutely fine. Combine with Shelter and WoR and you can Heal 15k+ every 30s.
You merely asked how tough a Dragonhunter could be, and I sufficiently answered your question.
As someone who never used that rune before, isn’t the 6th bonus pretty much wasted because of your F3 passive?

No? You’re healed any time you block and its off cooldown. Fights last longer than 30 seconds.
