Guild Wars 2

Right now I have a knight guardian build. Weapon: GS and virtue and honor are filled up and only two points in zeal. I am trying to build a solo guardian or a guardian that does tanking, but deal more damage than what I am dealing now. I thinking of changing my build because I was playing the mission with the plant dragon minion and I died four times and it was hard, but I finally was able to beat the dragon minion. I wanted to see if there is another build, like berserker build or soldier build that would be good to use. I also was thinking of putting 6 traits in zeal for damage. What do you think? Any tips or suggestions.

Try the hammer builds if you want to be tanky. They do comparable damage to top dps builds and you get perma prot for the small tradeoff in damage. The builds are 3/5/0/4/2 and 5/5/0/4/0 depending on how much support you need. You can look into it more in the sticky or click the link in my sig. Putting 6 in zeal is only worthwhile if you don’t need to use consecrations much, can’t keep aegis up for long, and aren’t using a hammer.

You can just run a tanky build and go zerker gear. I did that the other night and no one in my group seemed to notice.

Health doesn’t go below 80% and takes 5 mins on a trash mob.

No. Might on block, shouts, empowering might, strenght in numbers, staff camping, healing dodge rolls and lack of blind/vuln on blind traits however, are really easy to see.
