hey guys, recently hit 80 on my guardian and was looking for some advice…

i’ll be running dungeons and PvEing out and about mostly and was wondering if there was a recommended trait build for this… i’ve tried a few that i’ve found online and they seem like they are lacking.

i’m looking to do damage, but not to sacrifice so much that ill get downed in 1 shot….

thanks in advance

Gear is your first priority, it’ll ease on whatever build you choose.

Try to get at least some Rare set from the TP, it should cost about a gold or two. Then you can play around with various builds (there’s plenty viable) in the Mists and decide one that suits your play style.

I just recommend getting a decent gear first because with a weak gear (greens) you might find yourself cornered into a high survivability build because you can’t take hits in Orr.

That said… if you already have a decent gear and is just looking for builds to give it a try, here’s some:

30 Zeal, 30 Honor, 10 Valor: For Greatswords (main), Staves/Hammers (second), focus on Symbols.

20 Zeal, 10 Radiance, 20 Valor, 20 Honor: All round build, you can switch 10 points in Zeal into something else if you don’t use Spirit Weapons, goes will with pretty much any weapon.

30 Valor, 30 Honor, 10 Virtues/Zeal/Radiance: Heavy self sustain build, having every heal/mitigation possible. For any weapon, but suits best Symbol ones.

30 Radiance, 20 Valor, 20 Honor: Focuses on 1 Handers, mostly Sword/Shields and Torches, with on Crit boons.

30 Zeal, 30 Radiance, 10 Valor/Honor: aka Glass Cannon, using a Greatsword/Something else and all damage Signets/Save Yourselves.

But try to experiment on your own, you can find something that fits your weapon sets the best than someone else’s opinion!
