Guild Wars 2

Virtue of Justice’s passive works as intended for the duration increase. However, when traited with Permeating Wrath, the duration is back to 2 seconds instead of the intended 4.

Spartacus, your inbox is full so I can’t respond to your PM. It’s only bugged with Permeating Wrath; you can trait into DH as long as you don’t trait into Permeating Wrath and still get the full duration.

Yup confirmed bug.

Enabling Permeating Wrath will not effect the 4s VoJ burn tooltip, but burns applied are only 2 second duration rather than the 4 seconds listed.

Hope it gets a hotfix fast.

Considering how long they take to fix things, that may take a while…

I just checked, it only works with base Virtue of Justice, doesn’t work with DH (Spear of Justice).

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought this was intended due to wording of “Virtue of Justice” in patch note?

It seems that the passive burn increase is only for core burn guard. As soon as you spec DH you don’t get the increase…..I saw the tooltip still work for permeating wrath so long as you don’t spec DH. So im thinking its not a bug. ANET only wants the passive burn increase for Core Guard.

It does work on Dragon Hunter (only the passive), but doesn’t update on the tooltip.

So permeating wrath for core guardian has been fixed to include the longer passive burn time? I’m a core guardian and last night permeating wrath only had the original 2s burn duration tested on dummies. Without permeating wrath selected the 4s burn occured though.

hmmm I gotta test that again….They def need to fix it. Im gonna bump that thread on Pvp forum

Ahh I thought it wasn’t working on DH because the tooltip didn’t change. I should have tested on Dummy

I put it on the bug forum but anything that goes on there wont be fixed before the season is over.

This stuff usually gets hotfixed

Devs replied saying theyre working on a fix.

Yup GJ ANET. Was fixed last night and I was using it for my placement matches.
