As the title says I want to know what you guys think of these rune set for Medi Guard?

Now my thoughts. Well this is the most comon Medi Guard build. It’s not really the most bursty Medi can be but it’s the safer and the one that offers the most team support. Most Guards on Virtues go for Absolute Resolution but you can switch that trait anytime if you see that the enemy team is not condi heavy and take for instance Indomitable Courage and get Stability for save stomps on you or on your allies. With this in mind I looked for things that could actually hlep me sustain more while doing damage. I thought of what I use in WvW Roaming, life steal. It feats really well. Not only the build I’m using uses 4 different Sigils. This means they all have separate coldowns, so you know they will allways proc (for instance if you use Air/Fire on S/F and Fire on GS, if you proc Fire on Air and switch to GS, it will be on CD on the GS. The coldown is not that long but can make a difference).
Okay for sigils we are covered but what Runes should I use? This is where I got a bit stuck and this build has lot of options.
Rune of the Flame Legion - Burn Duration and 7% Damage modifier on burning foes, to proc with Fiery Wrath. Idk if many ppl use it but it’s an option, and a good one.
Rune of the Traveler - This here it’s good just because of the 25% speed increase. You also have Rune of Speed but I think Traveler works better because of 10% condi duration (so a bit more burning duration to help with damage), 15% boon duration (you already have 20%, 35% is not worse thats for sure) and 36 of all stats. I think the worst about it is the 36 of all stats. it’s a minor difference and cuts the damage by a quite a bit while the sustain difference is unnoticeable. But the mobility is too good to let go when we are working with a romaing build on a class that doesn’t have acess to swiftness with this spec neitheir any other way to increase mobility.
Rune of Speed - Same thing for Traveler, but this gives more sustain because of the Vitality has main stat. But Swiftness duration is a bit useless since we don’t have acess to it besides the one we gain from the rune it self. But since the rune already gives 25% speed increase that swiftness goes a bit unnoticeable.
Rune of the Pack - One of my favourites. Power and Precision increase by over 100 on both. Also has a chance to give Power, Fury and Swiftness when struck to you and nearvy allies. One of the best for the spec.
Rune of the Ogre - Damage increase and a pet. All bonus are usefull. Another great option.
Rune of Strength - Damage modifier when might in on. You will most likely have might on when you are bursting because of Virtue of Justice so the damage modifier will proc when bursting. All bonus are useful since Guard has some sources of might, although it’s a bit hard to stack up might all that high on Guard alone. Still a really viable option. One of the bests
With all this options I have never actually seen a Medi Guard with Rune of Vampirism, but why? I think, with my Sigil choice, there is no other Rune that completes it best. It gives more life steal when struck, after heal usage (so even more heal) and finally the mist. Well I think the mist might be what turn most ppl off maybe but it’s amaizing I think. It helps so much when you are in a tought situation and you need to breath a bit but don’t have how (because Guardian doesn’t really have how) and that invulnarability works wonders on those times. The downside is that, if you are on point is more invulnarability that helps the decap. But thanks to that mist I’ve alos had a couple of secure stomps on 1 v 1s
So, what do you guys think of this Rune set? What do you guys think of the other Rune sets compared to this one? I wanted to know this because I believe that I’ve never actually seen a Medi Guard with this Rune option on. I also wanted to share my opinion about this and the other Runes options we have for this buid.
