Guild Wars 2

I was wondering if anyone had one?

I would like to use the sword and shield if I could

I’m new so any help would be awesome

Here’s how I see the guardian weapons.

Offense/Support: Scepter, Torch, Staff
Offense/Defense: Sword, Focus, GS
Defense/Support: Mace, Shield, Hammer

So maybe try Mace/Shield. I personally like Sword/Focus for sPvP.

The sword is more of an offensive weapons than a tanky one. You could try a bunker build. Sigils/Runes are up to you though.

Use your utility skills to keep retaliation up and to lessen the damage you take (protection/regen on yourselves while weakness on the enemy). Try to fight within your symbols as they continuously heal you. Use Greatsword for offensive and Mace/Shield when you need to be defensive.
