amulet 1% crit damage = 12.8 stat
ring 1% crit damage = 16 stat
accessory 1% crit damage = 13.3 stat
back 1% crit damage = 14 stat
gems 1% crit damage = 5 stat

I use this when making builds for various things and I thought others might be able to use it as well. I’ve been browsing the posts on builds and some of their armor weighting seems to be off.

Anyway if any of it is wrong just let me know.

In case it isn’t clear to someone, what this means is that when adding critical damage to your gear you should always start with exquisite gems, followed by berserker/valkyrie shoulders, gloves, and boots, then an amulet, and so on. This maximizes your non-critical damage stats as you increase your critical damage.

Ascended bling bling items have the values between 8.5-9.5.
And Ruby orbs is 7. And trait tree is 10.

Yeah, you should definitely add the ascended items since they are very different from the exotic ones.

Ah thank you. I should have done that. I just honestly don’t have any ascended stuff to worry with right now. I will add that because it is helpful.

Also thank you foofad for explaining it. I guess it looks kind of silly with just a post with numbers in it.

Most everyone already knew it but it doesn’t hurt to have the infromation out there again.
