symbol of swiftness bug
It doesn’t properly add its duration, that’s correct. It also sometimes just … doesn’t do anything when you run over it, even if you don’t have swiftness already.

It ticks once per second, just like every other symbol. You’re probably running over it in between ticks.
And yeah, it is pretty bugged so sometimes it just doesn’t work because lol guardians.
It is, sometime I have already swiftness on me (20sec for the exemple) and when I walk on the symbol, instead of gain 10 more sec, I’m just downing to 10sec.
Just report the bug in-game.

Yeah the over writing swiftness is a pretty big issue. IF you can find a group in wvw (ours is pretty empty all of the time =/) staying with them sucks as a guardian if you use your speed boost. I learned not to use it, but sometimes you will see new guardians that think they are helping but aren’t.
