wanted some feedback on this build for wvw
I use a fairly similar build with a few small differences. Used to run soldier runes for the last year or so, but they just felt old. They’re still good, but I just wanted some different and more flexible. With orbs, I can switch the build around without breaking the bank. This build has high survivability and does pretty good dmg as well. Not great in small fights, but not terrible either.

My feedback to your build
Skills: Signet of Resolve:
This signet gets to often interrrupted in the frontline – choose „Shelter“, which blocks also
Skills: Save yourselves
Could be a oneshot death to you, when you try to get the conditions off of your buddies – choose „Judges Invention“ to jump your enemies or „Wall of Reflection“ which upscales with your crit DMG.
Traits: Radiance – Justice is blind
I´ve tested this the last days and imho the -5 in Virtues aren´t worth of it, I felt the cd on VoJ is too long, to switch this traits – put the 5 Points in Virtues and take the +25% retaliation duration
Traits: Valor – Purity
Viable way – as cleanse you can also use „Pure of Voice“. An alternative, which can be helpfull for you and your buddies is „Strength in Numbers“, which gives you infight(!!) additional 150 toughness and pushes your precision in combination with „Retributive Armor“
Sigills:
I´m using the superior Sigills of Stamina, cause if you´re incing an enemy blobb you need to dodge often and the heal by dodge is awesome.

not a criticism, more of just a gear question (because i honestly don’t know the answer to this)…
37% crit chance is not super high – curious why you spec’d mostly ascendant gear to stack crit damage. any reason you chose that over just relying on power for consistently higher damage? especially when you are running the hammer as one of your weapons, attack rate is so slow that your chances of proc’ing crit damage (and your crit sigils) seems low…
