warrior weapon traits vs guard
Because ArenaNet is either:
1.) Understaffed and has too much on their plate
2.) Doesn’t care
3.) Not a priority
I’m actually leaning toward 2/3, because they have plenty of time to nerf Spirit Weapons and then not care that they are useless. That’s a repeated pattern. It seems their balance ideas are to have about 1-3 best builds for each profession and then nerf anything else that could have situational “OP-ness”. Basically, they made 4 traits and 4 utilities entirely useless because one of them was good for FotM.
As long as a Profession has those 1-3 best builds (at least) they’re not going to bother fixing trash or broken traits/skills, because that’s not priority. Maybe once everything except those few things is horrible, and they’ve balanced those few builds relative to other Professions, they’ll work on the poor traits/skills. Until then I wouldn’t expect any changes.
