Guild Wars 2

hi all,
i’m running a 0 / 0 / 20 / 30 / 20 shout build and at the moment i’m using mace/focus as my main set, my other weapon of choice is hammer but, though i like it, sometime i find it too slow or sluggish, do you think greatsword could be a good replacement?
I like in particular leap of faith and symbol of wrath, what do you think?

idk, is this for pve, pvp, or wvw? Either way its not like you are going to do much damage with that trait/weapon setup so it doesn’t really matter what swap weapon set you go with as long as you get whatever you want out of it. Perhaps staff for mob tagging and the wall.

Well, it depends on what kinds of threats you’re dealing with. Do you:

Need mobility?
Need blinds?
Need hard crowd control?

If you answered yes to any of that, you should probably consider a greatsword. Otherwise, given the traits available, Hammer/Mace work very well together particularly in symbol builds.

I only do spvp and wvw, greatsword would be nice for having some mobility.
What i’m using now is a build focused on shouts and symbols (larger symbols ecc).
I do not expect do deal a lot of damage either way
