The scepter will finally be fix and will be replaced by tennis racket. Then the hammer will be able to use one hand with a nail on the other :P

Guardians already have sports equipment covered:

OP: there have been no hints on what guardians are getting – history suggests we’ll be largely overlooked, although I’ve seen one off-hand dev comment about buffing Smite Condition.

What we would like to see is another question entirely. 2-hander Polearm, crossbow and offhand ankh would all work for me….

Really I’d be more happy to see traits reworked and skills fixed than any new weapons

Asura Ball is amazing and possibly better put together than some of these mini games we have been getting

On topic, I would like to see an increase to base healing for some of our profession based healing, namely virtue of resolve, writ of the merciful, and zealous blade.

I think altruistic healing and monks focus are in a functioning spot right now so they shouldn’t need to be changed.

Also I feel that symbolic power should be moved down to the master tier major trait and swap it with possibly eternal spirit or revenge of the fallen.

I’m sure there are TONS of things that could be looked at, but those are the ones hot on my mind at the moment.

Those two areas could spark a lot of build diversity, especially by increasing survival of non-bunker specs via higher VoR without investing heavily into healing power.

Tbh i think guardian are the most well rounded profession.

If it gets so few patch bullets it’s because most of the class is already alright, compared to the glaring issues of some others.

That said, there are surely areas to improve.
-Scepter, manly auto, is still a weak point
-Zeal trait line is still bad imo, except fiery wrath and some symbol build gimmicks
-Honor trait line is still “AH line and pick the least bad traits in 10 and 20” – usually Purity/StrenghtinNumbers/Retributive Armor – where instead in Honor there are too many good traits for those only 3 slots!
-Shouts as utility still trumps 90% of other skills, except when you need reflects (WoR/SoA).
-Elite tomes could use a look.

Seafarer’s Rest EU – PvE/WvW – 8 × 80 chars.
Most used: Guard/Mes/War/Nec/Ele.
Yes, i use 5 chars at time. Because REASONS.

Opening a 4th utility slot would certainly add an interesting set of possibilities

Also, they need to buff some of the damage traits for Virtues. I’m looking at you Power of the Virtous.

Anyways, there hasn’t been much officially stated by the devs on the new skills/traits.

Race has nothing to do with stats.

As far as dmg goes, warriors are built for that, and that’s the only thing they’re very good at, so it’s totally fine in my book.

Guard’s hp are fine too. Warrior have 20k hp, but no protection, blind, passive regen (virtue), aegis, heal on roll, active regen (boon), aoe blind istant cast, c*rapload of blocks/invuln…

Guardians are much more durable than Wars even with 8k hp less.

I’d take 8k Hp, better Regen, massive amount of stuns/blocks (because we all know, not being able to do damage is better then having to heal through dmg), super mobility (again, Negation > Reduction)…

Warriors are in a better place then Guardians right now, for sure.

The fact that Healing Signet and Adrenal health and stacking Healing power ith Apot is pretty broken. My warrior Alt may not have super dodge roll heal sustain(healway) but the fact I can give buffs and 2k heals within at th most a 25 sec CD(not including Fear Me) I’m as tanky as most Guardians without giving up anything (I kill people very easily) I can go with Shield for blocks, warhorn for a pure of voice like conversion, or stick with Dual sword for more damage. Condition spec this is like the Healway guardian for Warriors. I also did some experimentation…i gave my Warrior 6 sec of protection every 30-40 sec(25% chance to prock on hit 30 sec CD). And Warrior with his own access to protection is pretty broken with all the sustain and low CD burst heal shouts.. The only way you loose is if you get continually spiked with Conditions(two necros), or two to three bursty types builds focusing you. >_> It pains me the other day i just running around in circles while a guardian, a Elementalist and a upleveled thief were beating on me and did not make a dent in my health what so ever. :S
