Guardians mitigate damage through active means(IE dodging, aegis, blinds, reflects) not through passive means(IE armor). The sooner you learn to use your skills and reflexes for staying alive, the sooner you will be on your way to being a top shelf guard.

Follow obal’s advice, for he is one of the best guardians in the game.

CoF is easy Zerker gear. CoE and Arah also give it, but CoF is the quickest. You can also buy it with Gold or mix and match depending on your patience level/wealth level.

You get the bonus tokens/money once a day, so the general Paths for CoF are P1-2 because combined take about 25 minutes. And CoE I can’t for the life of me remember which are usually done. If someone can pop in here, and say which are the usually done for CoE. Been a while since I done that dungeon.

Generally for ascend. You do fotm runs to get your rings and back piece. Use guild coms for your accessories, and for your amulet you use laurels. Weapons is a totally different subject. You’re going to need at least 70 gold to craft from 400-500, then around 20-30g for the weapon.

I’d worry about getting your exotics first.

All paths of COE are easily done. For path 1 you need to bring spikey fruit for the Bjarl the rampager fight and just keep chucking that at him.
