Guild Wars 2

A friend of mine said that he saw a another mesmer with four illusions out. This seems like it could be amazing especially with good clone generation, but I can’t seem to find any trait that allows for a fourth illusion. Was he just confused or is there a way?

have 3 clones out, send them in to shatter, throw phantasm before clones hit the target?

The second you hit your shatter you can start summoning more without burning your initial clones. I’ve had 6+ clones chasing a single person around on occasion
