Q:
About Triumphant Distortion changes
Not a dev, but as far as Anet’s track record on traits working well with each other:
No and yes.
Masterful Reflection still doesn’t work with all the invuln from traits, last I checked. Additionally, iDefender will most likely still take damage within that first second (well, not true, it will “pull” damage) but since it has invulnerability it won’t lose health or proc Retal.
Also, I feel like there’s going to be a delay where Illusions don’t get the 1s of Invuln, similar to Signet of Illusions and other problems we used to have.
Yeah, I wonder if you have 3 illusions out, will you automatically get 3s of invuln or will it be 1s start each time the illusion shatters?

Assuming the illusions work the same as the player, then no, the phantasms won’t reflect.
iDefender will not take damage during that one second…but mainly because it takes about a second for it to run to the target and actually cast the aura.
Sometimes the Aura appears within the first second of it’s lifespan. But since it’s invulnerable, it shouldn’t retal and would just halve allies damage (free prot, woo).

I may be mistaken but I thought they said it will be fixed to work on players in the September patch.

Yes, that’s what I’m thinking if you summon it close to the target.
