I play mostly WvW but I do roaming as well as commanding / fighting in a zerg. I want to be able to fight effectively in solo, small group, and large group fighting against all foes small to zerg.

Currently I am running Sword/Focus + Staff with a combination of Knights + Berserker’s gear, 2 sigils of energy and 1 bloodlust.

Traits are 0 + 20 (4, 10) + 30 (5, 10, 12) + 20 (4, + 0

Skills are generally ether feast, portal, feedback, blink, and mass invis but when roaming I will try to prep for a fight and often swap feedback or blink out depending what I’m fighting for either phantasmal defender, decoy, null field, or arcane thievery.

I find this build as I get better at playing it has a LOT of survivability but also a surprising amount of damage and even more utility/group benefit. Solo’ing camps is quick and easy with this build but I can also survive quite a long time 1v5 or 1v10 (especially if I see it coming and swap out skills).

The reason I have Prismatic Understanding with only 1 cloaking skill is when I need to “troll” an enemy guild or zerg (keep them busy for awhile). I swap focus to torch, portal to decoy, blink to veil, feedback to phantasmal defender…. for those times where I just refuse to die.

Thoughts?
