I run 0/20/0/20/30

Rabid gear with all runes of perplexity

Both scepters with Sigil of Earth, and offhands with corruption.

Now for part he said is dumb

I run with Scepter/ Pistol Scepter/torch because I like scepter so much and I can keep Confusion up forever :|

I focus on bleeds and confusion.

If this is viable to some; are my sigils ok? I always get stuck on which sigils I should be using

He probably called you dumb because you are using only one MH weapon and 2 OH weapons. The only situation where I can think of this being a good idea is if you either want to only have to use one trait for MH weapon, or if you want to be able to switch OH weapons without switching MH weapons. Most people probably wouldn’t do this, but hey, if it works for you, there’s nothing dumb about it.

It can work, but it’s mostly only efficient on Thieves since they have no cooldowns associated with their weapon skills. It can also be useful to save money (one sigil of on-kill stacking on the MH and 2 energy on offhand or something like that). But it’s still a, typically, silly move to do.

Just get yourself a sword, while you might not always be melee, there will be times where you need/want to go melee.

Oh I have a sword; I just feel useless until I can switch :/

I mean it scales better with berserker not rabid gear

If anyone has tips to make sword seem more viable for my build just say xD I sorta nub

In full condition during PvE? No.

In a Hybrid build? The additional blurred frenzy damage is nothing to shake a stick at.

they good in hyrbid builds ( condi and power/crit builds )

its not a pve build
but its a S/P & S/T build for spvp

the build works like this :

sword clones are the only once that run to targets, makes them important for my build. cause i use them to pressure my opponent into kiting.
I make my clones go “Poof” by creating more clones. eatch clone adds confusion/ random condition. while Iduelist and Image phantasms shoot from range.
and i myself being in stealth 40% of the time and 30% of the time evading. :p

awesome survivability build, with ranged & close combat pressure.

One main hand with two off hands is not that weird.

Quite a few mesmers rock sword/sword-sword/focus or sword/focus-sword/pistol. I’d bet 90% of them are phantasm builds. Sceptre has its highs and lows. There is one popular PVP build that rocks sceptre/sword for 2 blocks for defence and relies on phantasms for damage.

I don’t have any specific comments about your build, builds are not a strong suit of mine. I do look forward to seeing how your build is working out for you though, keep us posted.

It’s not dumb. It’s just very very heavy 1vs1 oriented Confuion spam. I use it all the time when I havoc. Same exact weapon and traits.
