Guild Wars 2

Title says it all. If the class isn’t overpowered as of late, is there any tips or advice on how to fight them at the moment? Cause I am at a complete loss.

What class do you play?

I main Engineer

It is very hard to fight mesmers with any class if you ask me. I think ele has the best chance.

I play guard engie ranger ele necro and mesmer.

Even pyro will tell you that. It is hard. I would say just wait for the balance changes.

If you are talking about 1v1, gl with that.

For engi, it depends, overall you’re disadvantaged, in part because engis are underperforming in pvp right now.

What build do you run? You’re best bet is with a condi burnstacking build, but of course condi engi will be wrecked elsewhere (ie. food for cele necros). Condi engi should have a fair chance against every nonmantra mesmer build. If you run SD or chaith’s marauder build (probably a better choice than pure SD) you will be forced to pop your invuln(s) and run away more often than not. It would help if mirror blade were unblockable.

On a power based build with nades, I’d say your best bet is to spam them to try and cleave the clones down, and attempt to get in a magnet-prybar-blunderbuss combo in if you can get a clear shot, which is hard if the mesmer is good.
