Thinking of maybe working it with reduced cool down on glamours, and confusing enchantments. Anyone tried this?

Using Veil for stacking confusion is a waste of time (just 1 stack of confusion) and you lose one of the most precious utilities of WvW.

If you want to spread confusion, take both feedback and null field and drop both when the zergs meet (Cleaning boons and conditions, relfecting projectiles from the background, and spreading up to 4 stacks of confusion to the melee).

place veil infront of your zerg after stacking and right before the push to get a preemptive strike on enemies and their zerg. most players uses veil selfishly though and when they do it’s mainly defensively…to run away. does veil have a cap on how many players it can stealth? if you want to turn your glamours into something more offensive utility then 20/0/0/0/20 with the key traits: confusing enchantments in domination, dazzlin glamours and blinding befuddlement in illusions. you’ll have 30 points left to put where ever you like. works great on zerg play. good luck

My point was not to make another glamour build. But to try and add some aoe ability to a PU spec, that already used glamour(veil). Making a glamour build is easy, making a decent roaming build with some aoe is hard.

careful with using feedback with the build strategy i posted. i believe if the targeted zerg has retaliation up…feedback will count both range and the confusion damage towards you

The problem here is that veil is used just before you assault an enemy zerg. They wouldnt run into it. PU is great for stacking when you smash into their lines but the confusion? Pretty worthless. IMO all glamour confusion is meh. Look good in theory, works poor in practice. Much better to spec for burst damage – an enemy zerg should be wiped before your veil has even come out of cd, meaning in addition to it being used pretty far from the zerg you generally wont be using it again. Long cooldown for something of that use.

I used to run full glamour confusion in the first few months of launch.

It was so inneffective compared to the massive damage my friends did… It made me feel like mesmers were useless xD

I basically hoped for confusion projectile finishers :/.
