I’m currently leveling my Mesmer and I’m not yet at the required level to run my first instance. Leveling the Mesmer is no easy task and it leads me to wonder how we end up.

Are Mesmers sought-after in Dungeons?
How are we at 80? in comparison to other classes in Dungeons.

Portals alone make Mesmers highly sought after for Fractals.

Also great for COF path 1..

i would say we are pretty good in dungeons. I’m lvl 50 now and doing daily AC runs.

We dont deal big numbers of dmg but we can outlast everyone of the team and still deal pretty much dmg.

i’m able to get about 20 stacks of bleeding on my target and while i have all 3 of my iDualists out i try to support my group.
my bleeding procs for about 30 atm in AC (30 × 20 = 600dps) and i would say this is above the average in ac, but i’m not sure.
If i want i can even stack 15-20 stacks of confusion on my target to get some more dps.

I use portals most of the time to help ppl avoid traps and support newbies.

Timewarp is awesome on bosses. Everone nearly doubles his dps inside of this bubble!

But(!) i dont know how this build works in later instance. I think it will run okay – good but i’m not sure. It depents on how fast your phantasm die.

If Concidtion dmg isnt something for you, you can try a mantra support build.

Any good player would want a mesmer in their group. Great damage, great utility, whats not to love?

Of course a Mesmer is going to say we’re wanted. Why would anybody be lurking in this class forum if they felt otherwise.

Mesmer has enough utility to help any group but they are squishy if you build for straight dps. Of course you could just take 5 guardians and be done with it nobody in their right might takes 5 mesmers.

I don’t know. 4 glamour mesmers with a mantra/support mes would be friggin’ hilarious. Haha! OK, maybe 1 or 2 could dps. :P
