Guild Wars 2

Hey everyone! I’ve just come back to the game and am quite lost when it comes to the current builds and armor.

I’ve been reading through all the different patch notes and builds out there and I’m somewhat confused as to which build and armor along with runes and sigils to use when and where.

I’m currently using a Shatter build (2/6/0/2/4) along with Berserker armor and Ruby Orbs. I have a Berserker Great Sword with Fire and Energy sigils. I have a Sword with a Bloodlust sigil and a Focus with a Fire sigil. My trinkets are all Berserker trinkets.

From what I gather Berserker’s armor is the general norm for Fractals along with Great Sword and the Sword / Focus combo. With that in mind, what sort of builds should I look at and which runes should I be using?

For general PvE should I go with Berserker’s armor, Valkyrie armor or Soldiers armor, if not then can you guys recommend some armor types for me, please?
