This is my first Mesmer build/video, and will hopefully make more! These clips are taken pre patch as well as post patch, but the build did NOT change.

Some Things To Talk About
Weapons – I use sword for damage, but i take torch instead of pistol for more survivability. I take staff instead of GS because staff provides more survival/an interrupt/Crowd control, i also prefer Phastasmal warlock > Phanstasmal Berkerser. Why is this? Any decent player knows how to dodge a phantasmal bersker’s burst, on the other hand, Phantasmal warlock is harder to dodge because it has the same animation as your staff auto attack, and your staff-illusions’ attack, making it harder to tell which one will hit you for a lot. (also the animation is less noticeable). The only con to this is it does a LITTLE less damage than Phantasmal warlock, the difference is only a few hundred dmg, not even that if you time it with your conditions.
Sigils – I do NOT recommend you buy a Superior Sigil of Generosity, its stupidly overpriced, i just bought you major sigil for 5g, and i recommend you do the same. There is very little change between superior and major sigil of generosity. Also. yes, I do take damage sigils > fire sigil. Why? it has a better overall damage output.
Runes – Take these if you want to be able to run from/keep up with anyone else, i HIGHLY recommend these runes, or at least 25% movement speed runes.
Traits – Yes, i know, this trait setup might look weird, but it combos well with everything else, i get more damage as well as more survivability. Keep in mind this build is full zerker power/phantasms, so i wont need the Illusion traits. Also yes, i do take PU, this is because after putting 10 in Domination, 20 in Dueling, and 20 in Chaos, the best option was to just take PU, its useful for chaining stealth, escaping, and the boons help as well. I did not take it to be “Cheese”, i took it to be efficient.
Skills – I take Signet of ether because when you can manage to keep all 3 illusions up (which you should easily be able to) you regen like a monster. PS : you won’t be shattering your clones, this is not a shatter build, making Signet of ether very useful. I take blink because it’s useful is a variety of different situations. I take decoy because its useful for escaping (chain it with other invis skill and get away for free!) also, i needed a stunbreaker. I take portal entre so i’m able to escape from fights that i can’t handle. Although, post patch i’ve swapped out portal entre for phantasmal disenchanter for more condition removal, since everyone has seem to have turned to condi builds. I take Mass invis to chain invis skills to escape. (TIP: Never use it in fights, use it to escape them if needed!)
Food : I often swap my food out for mango pie, it’s very useful.
Other – This build is an all around good build. Its mobile, Has stunbreakers, lock downs, condition clears, and it has multiple ways to damage your opponent. Also, Don’t be fooled, just because this is a full zerker build doesn’t mean you’ll almost die to every burst you take. Although you will nearly die from burst damage (its zerker after all) its very easy to keep up aegis/protection/ect and staff helps a TON with kiting damage that you can’t afford to be hit by. As you can see in my video, i often stay at 90% HP because i am able to dodge damage with ease. This is a build i will be running on my mesmer for a very very long time.
