I love the look of the armour that can be bought for karma at the gods’ temples in Orr, but have no idea which set would be best for my current set up. I generally run a power+shatter based greatsword/sword+sword build (20/20/0/0/30), so I’m looking for stats that would ideally match a set of berserker’s of knight’s armour.

Any thoughts as to which set I should go for, or should I try to mix and match?

Go with a full set of Balthazar armor. Later on you might want to swap the mantle for Dwayna and the headpiece for a Grenth/Infiltration one if you want the maximum pure power on your basic armor. Balthazar runes add even more power and come with the set, but you can swap them out for superior runes that address deficiencies in precision/condition if your build calls for it.

The good news is that Balthazar is a popular zerg run for many high-pop servers, so you should be able to get your set within a day or two.

Might as well craft them, it’s cheaper and faster than gathering all the karma.

The problem is that I really like the look of the armour, and that I have enough karma (in jugs) for the full set. I know I won’t get an exact match, but I was wondering which set would be closest to the stats that I’d like.

Use some transmutations gems. You’ll got the skins and the stats you need

I’ll probably do that at some point, but I don’t have the gold to buy a set of crafted armour and enough gems to transmute, whereas I have enough karma to buy one of the temple sets now. I’m just not sure which set has stats which are close enough to the stats I want for now, to tide me over until I can get enough gold to transmute anything.

Except if you’re on Yak’s Bend Balthazar seems to be bugged this week and event won’t work lol xD

I bought full balthazar and I’ve been running with it since.
The stats are really great and compared to a full berzerker one I have… The berzerker just look pretty kittenty, I lose way too much toughness to gain little crit chance and attack.

And hell yeah, I look gorgeous.

Note: My specs aren’t maxed, I’m still choosing the ascended backpiece and I’m working on getting the rings, so I still run around with yellow accessories and rings as a placeholder.

Thanks for the replies guys! Balthazar’s armour it is then. I’m on Desolation, so I don’t think having the temple unlocked is going to be too hard lol.

Sounds like im too late, but i would use Dulfy.net and pick and choose out the pieces with Power toughness vitality. There is one for every slot but legs, and i took the precision one. Then replace all the runes with Ruby Orbs.
