So I know a lot of things don’t effect phantasms so gearing is a bit different for mesmers, I’m wonder what signets/runes/orbs will give me the most dps.

Currently I’m using ruby orbs / might on weapon swap / precision on kill

You probably want to wait for april 15th, since the announced some changes to runes and sigils that will benefit mesmers.

At the moment, you are good with using Traveler/Speed runes to make up for our lack of speed boosts.

Might and Precision Sigils are actually quite good since they both carry over to your clones and phantasms. Energy (endurance on weapon swap) is also used often because most mesmers pretty much rely on Deceptive Evasion (clone on dodge).

Right now, i have bloodlust on sword and another sword with Air for changing after 25.
Tornment on GS, energy on pistol. It is for the man Hybrid set. For full cond staff with corruption, and Sc/T with+cond and plus duration. Rarely use it, don’t like full cond build but run it sometimes in Zergs Dire armor rune of speed and mixed PTV and cond trinkets let me run close to Pin and not hung back during the fight.
But i agree with Lavra. Wait. Good sigils are expensive as well as runes. Ima sure apr 15 will bring a lot of surprises and a lot of broken stuff as well. Maybe also few new builds when everybody get accustom to changes

Just wait one more week and you will save plenty of gold, trust me

This will change as of April 15th since 40 Runes are changing and so are signets. Do not do anything right now.

Scholar was still your best choice before April 15 (the 10% bonus affects your reflect damage with feedback, which is the main source of mesmer damage and worth getting 10% on). After April 15, who knows??
