Today I was feared out of blurred frenzy? really? was it bug or you can be feared out of it now?

Maybe it happened almost as the evade frame was ending. …. but then again ever since the nerf…. Who knows.

How can you be interrupted from it if you’re dodging the whole time? Doesn’t make sense to me ><

I think most fears have the “unblockable” tag (necro traited staff, warrior)

It’s weird
I’ve been seeing quiet a few people complaining about lags
Personally I’ve never lagged in this game, which is AMAZING, since I live in the freakin’ middle east and lagging have ruined many games for me …

Blurred frenzy seems to be a bit broken, since i got killed few times during evade, especially in TA spiders part. It’s like it could dodge certain amount of attacks.

I often get feared / CCed out of Blurred Frenzy, too.
No Idea why.

Those effects are probably not attacks and therefore not dodge-able.

Threre are also fields you are unable to dodge. For example at the fire shaman, you can’t dodge trough the flame lines without getting burned. I guess necro fields are not just unblockable. But I’ve never been feared before in BF :s

There are few undodgeable fear attacks in pve. In pvp there are certain traits and rune effects that inflict fear and they might be undodgeable.

Sometimes even in regular pve I swear something hits me during the blurred frenzy buff duration but then I go and try to test it and can’t replicate it >_>

U can get daze from shock aura or from others auras in BL stance.. or retal damage or Binding Blade as this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjoiI_32ywY or as this u can get 12 stacks conf from chaos armor http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yecRyBzCbW0
and look instead getting 13 stacks conf how many times confusion triggered.. anyway it was before patch maybe already changed..

It was probably the rune effect. The passive fear on that seems to proc through dodges and blocks as well. I know I have had it proc mid-dodge before. Might be a lag issue as others pointed out, but I think the rune passive is un-blockable & un-dodgeable.

I missed the invulnerability it used to have (especially losing the 2 seconds of no condition damage).

In my experience, it only dodges a limited number of attacks per set time. So if you’ve got multiple sources of incoming damage, some will go in.

Conditions still damaged you when you were invulnerable :/.

Your experience is wrong, I’m afraid.

@OP: The most likely cause is the 6 bonus of runes of nightmare, which is undodgeable.

test with 3-4 people on you and some wells, sigils, traps. Some damage will def go in.

Did you attack a condi class? The Nightmare Rune if it procs during blurred will fear you out – stupid rng rune -.-

That’s because conditions currently on you will continue to tick, along with retaliation damage bypassing evade.

Engineer static shield is also able to stun you mid-blurred frenzy if they pop it.

Bugged? Sounds like it’s bugged.

Risk & Reward Factor Probably.. ?
isnt it BF was so OP.. :P
it was nerf for BF become from invul to evade..
Probably rather than us Developers need to to play understand the better game,

• or we should remind that this game is PvP and Pve where Game mechanic is for max 5 players not for GvG or Fair WvW(as competitive large scaled fights) example,
• or Play How u like to play, Have Fun!
