Boon share for WvW?
Well, mesmers don’t really generate a whole lot of boons, so your boonsharing is primarily restricted to doubling up on what everyone else generates. This is pretty strong though; doubling stability stacks has an obviously large benefit. Doubling the durations of swiftness/fury/etc is also good.
Honestly though…you don’t need to “build” for boonshare. Just build for whatever you find most useful and throw on signet of inspiration at the end.
I suspect for “boonsharing” you’d need Chaos and Inspiration, to generate boons via Bountiful Disillusionment and sharing them via the Phantasm trait.
Problem is, that build… even if you drop Chronomancer and go with Illusions for the last line it doesn’t really do much else, and the boonsharing itself isn’t that strong, either.
But what Fay says applies, you also share out all external boons, again. So in sum it’s not little, plus you readily share stability.
It just costs you a lot, few builds can easily make room for both Chaos and Inspiration and not feel extremely kitten in the process.
Boonshare Mesmer builds are meta for mid-large scale group compositions. Dom/Inspiration/Chrono variants synergize well with Mallyx revs whereas Chaos/Inspiration/Chrono builds are a more “bursty” approach. Both paths have their advantages, but it’ll most likely boil down to how organized the rest of your guild is at executing the rotation.
I found and tried a dedicated boon share build (Chaos 333, Insp 122 & Chrono 332), and I’ve never felt more worthless.
Group up, F1-F5 =>Sig of Insp.
Don’t die.
Regroup, F1-F5 => Sig of Insp.
Rinse and repeat.

Is that for WvW / GvG?

Boonshare is cheesy and boring, but effective. But only works in closed raids and a roster prepared for it (a minimum of 2 boonshare mesmers and a boon rev in the same party).
Pretty much everyone hate it. In fact, some guilds abusing it gained such bad fame others are rejecting gvg, it’s pretty much the same as venom share.
You can use it, but be prepared if you’re focused in an unusual way, or you get insulted for using it.
The basic build is this: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vhAQJAsuEFox+0QJJhMJA1LuybG-w
Usage:
- F1 and F4
- Mimic and F5 when casting
- SoL and F3 when casting
- Mimic (after returning from Continuum Shift)
- SoL and F3 when casting
- SoL and F2 when casting
This is the one I used. After the boonshare you’re a kinda of ranged DPS (izerker + Protected Phantasms is key), and also it allows another share with #4 shield and Illusionary Inspiration (bug).
