Some people still use the good old GS/SP like I have stuck by since day one. Sure I sometimes go off and have my fun with Staff/SS and other builds similar to it, but in the end I really feel that S/P has so many good uses it can not be ignored, and that it messes better with a GS build that has power and crit built into it. I may get some bad feedback on the fact that I do not use feedback (in game with lots of ranger opponents use it I love the ability too) but in the end I find that the hardest people to bring down are a really good Warrior, Condition Necro, or Guardian, so I use Arcan Thievery to balance the playing field. I go back and forth on this choice as feedback really lets you start bursting a CP and forcing the defender to step off the CP. Guess it depends what you are doing in the match. But without any more jibber jabber here is my DPS GS build that has never let me down, if you die in a fight with this build you will always think to yourself, dang I shoudla used this or that ability.

DETAILED GUIDE
Always start off with GS, start your full rotation of abilities (2,4,3) if they know what they are doing the will close distance, let them in close after they try and hit you with ability use dodge (making 3rd clone) and shatter mind wrack. Push them back with ability 5 and now 2 should be back up use that as well, now switch to S/P and use 3. Again dodge will be up dodge attack (now have 3 clones use distortion) Use distortion then use 4. Next use 5 to stun, when stun breaks and they attempt to unload dmg (they will be desperate now) use number 2 to continue dmg and be unhitable. When it ends dodge and use decoy, well using decoy repostion far away switch back to GS and shatter what is up (should have three clones out.) Your next hit is 100% guaranteed crit. REPEAT REPEAT REPEAT. Note that you number 7 ability gives you 2 free clones, I use this when I mess up or need to break stun, I shatter them with 4th shatter that will give you vigor, but feel free to play them as you see fit. 8 is for tankies or anyone with lots of boons and or using conditions on you. 9 is for again if I messed up along the way or want to attempt a 1v2.
