Altered Build I’ve been running

So amazingly I fixed up my comp which has been underperforming for an age and all of a sudden I can play and record without issue anymore. I’m haven’t been interested in partaking in S4, but reading about the DH infestation it got me to thinking what I could do to rain on their parade.
During S3, or on the off season I came up with this build which maximizes on ranged AoE CC and damage with optimized downtime on CC’s. So far so good.
Watch out for the 1v2 6k+ confusion proc, and multiple general team explosions :D

also try mistrust but still too squishy to fully utilize it in any team comp
i also love when i see MM or ranger and they confus each other and all the area :d
also consider more dh around so more condi cleanse thus your condi dmg will be low as it shown in this vid when you attack the guard on mid . only your direct dmg did the trick mainly

Right. It’s not a condi build though, so that’s not really an issue. Interrupts are going to spread confusion around, but they’re also going to generate might. That’s going to spike the power damage, meanwhile the AoE CC is going to do its thing. No matter what, the build forces use of everything. Invulns, condi cleanse, healing, stun breaks, stability. It kitten s opponent resources. Despite being glassy I can even bait out an offensive push just by playing defense on a point first as I did a couple times in the vid. Mistrust is just like icing on the cake.
i try this with diviner
100% boon duration
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vhAQNAseWncfC1ohlpBmqBEgiFhj68D2gRrOTH1U1sAagAA-TZRGABov/Q5PAgEOBAAcEAW4QAAA
same concept just focus on power
if thief around i am in trouble if he perma dodge hit and run
i notice the build concept (also yours) is good versus necro, ranger, engi, ele,
guard thief and rev might be problem with blocks evade and dodges and huge dmg

While I take some boon duration, Im not bothered with major boon uptime. All might stacks occur on interrupt, which is when I’m bursting anyway. That’s when all the damage and condi’s spike, so that’s the only time I need it.
While mistrust is only the icing, the 30 stacks of confusion the necro got from the interrupted minions (around 2 min in the vid) was… priceless.
Been trying sinister ammy and swap well of recall to MoD and boy does this trait deliver.
During initial battle I bait out passive stab procs/CDs etc with power lock then manages to wipe (literally) 4 men opponent team with double gravity field and nullfield (20 stacks of confusion + 4.5 to 5k damage in each gravity well’s final pulse). Did the same thing again 2 more times in subsequent team fights, but 2 allies were downed (and 1 were downed in 3rd fight) so just marginally defeat one opponent before their team got rallies.
Tried it a couple more games, generally if opponent have necro/guardian/ele you’ll be very happy. But against thieves you’ll have hard time so you have to hide among teamfights (been like this for 3 years anyway lol). Surprisingly well against guardians since they don’t really spec for stun breaks other than virtue and passive proc. And they usually waste JI on initial burst so their stab uptime is actually not so pretty.

Yesa, yes, and yes. Thanks Nick for giving it a run and review :D
My kingdom for HoT BWE1/2 Well of Precognition.
Here is a “safer” tankier spec.
It’s a simple Ammy/Rune alternative. Paladin’s ammy to bring in the toughness/vit, then Aristacrosity (or any condi rune) for a bump to condition damage and to maintain some might duration. Hitting those team fights should stack up the 25 might which maintains those power strikes albiet without any bonus ferocity, and at 925 condition damage your mistrust confusion will still tick away. It’s a hit to damage for the sake of the safety net that toughness/vit provides. That’ll allow more on point presence, it might also be a good way to introduce yourself to the build. Just keep that alacrity uptime high, the chaos armor proccing, and cycling through the CC to grind down the opposition.
