Guild Wars 2

Hey all!

So, there was a lot of discussion about this build before and now being a little out of date I feel its time to rejig things & think about it further after the new system comes in.

The build revolves around stunning and interrupting your opponent whilst dealing some nice damage. I wont explain much more, but I feel this will be amazing when combined with Chrono & the alacrity effect when HoT does come in.

You have no condition removal. That must be rather unpleasant at times.

Yea its one issue, but mesmer has that prob generally. The interrupts help me survive nicely but the removal is prob the real issue with the build. But with the meta atm. Condi’s aren’t as bad as they used to be thankfully!

I like when people base their facts or opinions of the entirety of Mesmers off of what others say or even their personal experiences instead of realizing there’s more than one way to play. Part of me wants to believe he was joking (do people even use Generosity?)

I tested it some and was pretty impressed.

I’m not quite sure whether it prioritizes Torment high or just rips off big stacks first, but it did a pretty good job purging big damaging conditions rather than just inconsequential throw-ins.

When I run Staff I use Generosity but most times I stick with Sword/air.

I see… I never considered it worth a use compared to things like Sigil of Doom/Energy or Leech/Fire and what not.

I’ve gotten lazy and started going with double energy sigil so it doesn’t leave much room for a lot of sigil options when I want Doom and most likely Fire. So you’re sure that the condition that got removed wasn’t just the most recent applied to you?
