For solo roam wvw? Ive been told can do condi or vice versa, anyone able to help me out?

That’s basically what I run. 20/20/30, GS and scepter/torch or scepter/pistol (depending on my mood) with rabid pretty much everything and traveler’s runes.

Why rabid with Gs isnt it supposed to be a power build?

I do have a bit of power and critical damage in there, but it’s mostly condition/precision.

That build is much more offensive than mine, which is a “hybrid hybrid” between Blackdevil’s and the classic Blackwater PU build.

Is GS the new meta again?? Last I knew, GS was a pretty crappy weapon for Mesmer and would get you the “kick” button in a group.

i run power pu. gs sword/torch or if im in ganking mood ill run sword/pistol scepter/torch.
20/20/30 with manipulation traits and all power spec.

This is for WvW. Not Pve. Roaming without a GS means you can’t catch anything that runs away.

GS can be used with condition build. Spatial Surge from clones hits 3 times (more bleed stacking) and Mirror Blade give you a nice might stack. Also, 4 hit from iZerker.

Stop believing everything the haters say. They are just more vocal and loud. GS is not a crappy weapon for mesmer. If you’re focused to max damage in a dungeon, then yes GS is not the best weapon to max your damage, beside that it’s a good weapon.

Never heard of a mesmer being kicked from a group for having GS. Maybe an ’’elite’’ and maximized group will kick you.

Here, same build but uppdaterad version (3.0 Hidden Cat ) in some more zergich wvwvw.

Reason GS not been so strong in wvwvw earlier has been due to survival, Power PU open up a new possebility for mesmer who both want strong dmg and high survival, add travaler runes and you have speed aswell.

no ive been finding ways to make GS the best weapon since release, and it has, i can say ive made well over 20 different builds using the GS, just name your fancy and ill pull one up

When using GS you need to remember the best uses,
1# use at range for higher damage
2# use at close range for bounce damage and might stacking
3# use for the boon removal and part of burst, (works great on thieves and necros that use there stability state, stability tends to end up the only bon they have on at the time
4# cripple/you dont have to be facing your enemy to use not only that the beauty of phantasms is that they dont put you in combat, use that dont ignore it
5# select the opponent to fight, if used fast enough you can shut down a group if used fast enough with your aoe.

not only that but the 1200 range combined with mantra of pain can give out an absaloutly INSANE burst at extremly high range and ALWAYS has, sorry for caps but the burst at range has always allowed me to pop in and out of zergs picking out foes to down, its just too valuable and anyone who tells me otherwise can walk away
