Nerf mantras, nerf PU to 150% stealth instead of 200% but even 200 is fine IMO because of the limited ways we can actually go into it, while its somewhat of a ‘long duration’ (equal to 2 HS through blinding powder on both decoy and torch which isn’t that much IMO). I’d also double the icd on CS or make it 7-8 seconds. Mantras carry bad players heavily and are I’d say among the top reasons of why mesmer is getting so much crying.
Also I’d rather they get a kitten good matchmaking system first. HoT is flooding the game with new players so every decent/top player that soloqs gets put in completely useless teams and its just unplayable unless you go duo/trio/quad/penta q
I think the game is fine as is. Everything is somewhat OP and not all builds are easy easy, the ones that are (like mantra inspi mes, generally mantra mes) need to be nerfed, I’d also nerf ele a bit because its just too tanky at the moment, either get rid of a chunk of that damage or survivability.

inb4 Anet buffs inspi mantra build and nerfs Chaos line \o/

Ele needs a complete from the ground up rework not a nerf.

The trait lines need to be less specific to the element and instead be thematic but apply on swap or to certain things across elements (say soft CC, when inflicting a damaging condition etc) then we can see a balanced ele instead of thise crazy OP or crazy UP thing we get.

I hope Anet takes their time and brings things down slowly. A good place to start is the stats and to scale the damage aspect down a little. Another good place to look is that horrible torch trait.

They’ll just Nerf every skill and Trait we have by 25% and hope the proffession dont drop too underpowered.. then it’ll spend another expansion being the underdog lolololol I feel for the players who have picked Mesmer up because its strong but FoTM Rerolling, so they deserve it.

If I played a Mesmer as my main I wouldn’t be too worried. A-Net can’t and won’t nerf elementalits because they get feedback from the top teams that have a lot of elementalists. Toning down burning is not an Ele nerf. Because of this they can’t really touch the Mesmer in any significant way either, because if they did then Ele will be the absolute king of PvP.

My expectations are:
-blinding dissipation can be dodged
-daze trait icd to 10 from 5s

That’s pretty much it what will happen.
