Please not. Plenty things right now need a nerf, but few things need a straight-up buff. There’s a lot of elements which could be ripped out entirely and replaced with something worth using in niche situations. Granted.
But buffs? The power creep from HoT was intense, if anything I’d curb that.

Yeah thats nice and everything but pre HoT Mesmer’s damage was kitten because of mechanics and skills, its nothing to do with the HoT power creep pushing the other classes dps even higher. Mesmer weapons sure as hell don’t need nerfs.

Even before HoT our weapon damage was bad, and now this is just highlighted even more by the powercreep of other classes. In some niche scenarios we shine (and those are few and far between anyhow) for damage, and the rest of our “damage” comes from unique utility skills that are essentially quirky gimmicks more than anything else.
Most of our weapons need a buff. And before you go crying again, a buff doesn’t have to mean just increasing the numbers.
It would be much better to rework most of our weapon skills so that our sustained damage is increased significantly, our burst damage comes down a tad, and our damage in those extremely niche scenarios I mentioned earlier is not changed at worst, possibly lowered a tiny bit at best to compensate for much higher damage overall.
Mesmer is a class of gimmicks, but that doesn’t mean our weapons don’t need to be buffed.
