Q:
Can we hope a dev tchat for WvWvW mesmer?
i have seen a ton more variations of builds since the last patch both condition and phantasm mostly, shatter is largely un-changed.
also why can’t you use the sword? i play with it every day and do absolutley fine, watch for retaliation before i hit it and there is largely not too much different in the grand scheme of the weapon….
a revamp i don’t think is necessary at all! move some traits around like mantra’s perhaps the torch make things a little coherent and as always the mesmer community will come up with lots of builds and new variants on the current ones.
please explain and elaborate why we need a re-vamp why you can’t (or don’t) use the sword, argue about the interupts, its pointless and in-coherent to say ‘’interupts are quite useless’’ be more constructive and elaborate on why they are quite useless.
i would love a dev chat but i think there could of been more thought to the body of this post and subject.

U say that you see a lot more variations of builds, i agree but i dont see anything for warband mesmer(larg fight 30v30+). Most of new build are not for this type of game. I ve tried to adapt but it s not efficient. ( sure phantasm ll hit one time, i don t like shatter in larg group because your lead ll call for burst in one area and you don t know were your illusions ll go).
U can t use mantra because all organize warband ask for veil or portal, nule field, return, and time warp.
I assure your that the new mechanic of sword is really hard to use now. You are a great player because i can t use my sword in larg fight. Retaliation is not really the problem, before the patch i manage to go in mele now it s just suicide. difference between the old and the new : 2 second of immune versus 2 second evade : the high amount of aoe and the curse which go with kill me. immune made a tempo that we dont have anymore. Moreover since the last patch we saw a lot of necro now.
I m a little disgusted by the last 2 patch, confusion were great to play with the utilities that our warband ask to take. Forget it. The nerf of sword ( mechanic , dps ..) is hard for my gameplay, i find him very poor these days. The switch between mele and range was so cool.
I ve test interupts in spvp, it s really a good idea, but for wvwvw i find that s no t efficient. Even with nule field or wells of necro the heads of ennemies warband are under stability, so or we don t do anything the first thirty second or we don t answer the call of our leads. ( why 30 scd, just to give an idea of the time before we can be efficient. heads of warband near every time 5-10 guardian, and some warriors.)
