I started to notice that I did not get allot of boons as of late, so I have been paying more attention as to why.
Turns out that chaos armor is broken.

I knew that it always gives protection as a first boon if you use the direct staff skill, but after that, there is nothing.

Combo fields give chaos armor as well, but that does absolutely nothing, other then a shiny bubble effect (and even that does not always show)

The only time I get a boon (protection) is when I use the chaos armor staff skill direct, the other boons come from the chaos storm and time warp, swiftness and regen never pop

It does not matter if I am in battle or not.

Edit: awesome, i screwed up the topic title >.<

You have to be struck by your ennemy for other boons to show up and your ennemy get conditions.

It would be great if it functioned the way you thought. If you could throw chaos storms and shields for haste chance it would be another improvement possibly to the move speed issue we have out of combat.

Nice thing is though, that chaos armor/storm can apply bleeding/fire/poison/confusion…. as a condition build this is king.

Yup
I use chaos storm/shield as an “Oh Crap” button when escaping… that phase retreat to pop a clone and teleport me that much further away.
