Is there a difference between the chaos armor the staff gives and the one the trident gives? I know they just stuck it on an existing trident skill, but the trident skill has an 12 second CD while the staff is almost 3 times that.

Trident doesn’t have a spammable leap finisher, and dropping glamours at your feet for more combo fields is harder too.

Also, it’s underwater, which doesn’t matter for PvP and is thus kinda irrelevant for balancing.

That said, (condi) mesmers are kinda op underwater, anyway.
