I’m wondering why armor’s/aura’s do not stack in duration? Anyone ever heard an answer to this?

Same with my ele, if I drop Frozen Ground it’s a waste to drop more then one blast finisher because it caps at 5 seconds.

I guess Anet has to cap some things occasionally, can’t have 5m of every boon up all the time, and armors, and aura’s… etc.

You answered your own question. Chaos Armor is probably the best armor buff in game. To stack duration on an already easy to apply skill would be overkill to say the least.

iLeap(9) + Swap(0) + Phase Retreat(6) + Chaos Armor(28)

iLeap + Swap, wait 9 seconds, iLeap + Swap —> Chaos Armor + Phase Retreat + Phase Retreat + iLeap + Swap + iLeap + Swap…

Perma Chaos Armor, heck you’d get 110% uptime with Chaos Armor + Phase Retreat or iLeap + Swap.

Guess this was just wasted thread space… oh well One can dream though…
